1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
honestly, i have eye contact issues no matter what, so it’s difficult for me either way. but i think looking in someone’s eyes and telling them how you feel is less hard, but not easy. but i think if you’re really trying to tell them how you feel and make them understand what you’re saying, eye contact is vital and that makes it a little less of a challenge. but looking someone in the eye while they tell you how they feel is harder because how you feel about what they’re saying to you will show right through your eyes and that might not be something you want them to see right away.
did that make any sense at all?

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
i like to think so. i’m always there for them if/when they need me. i’ve been told my hugs have magical cheering up powers. i’m a good listener. i play mom to a lot of my friends - i love to take care of people. i have an arsenal of wise words that i throw out there at appropriate times. i’m practically a walking inspirational poster, i’m pretty good at giving people a boost when they need it. i’m good at helping people with decision making - i don’t tell them what to do, i question them until they’ve talked through their options and realize what choice they want to make. i’m the friend people call at all hours to just sit on the phone with and cry. no words, just tears. i’m that friend.
so i like to think i’m a pretty good friend. but i don’t know, i guess you’d have to ask my friends.

13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
well i haven’t told anyone how i feel about them in particular, but i have told people how i feel about other people. the last person i told everything to was heather. i expected it to be easy. it wasn’t. at all. i told her, i literally don’t recognize myself in the mirror anymore. and that’s a good thing because all the changes are good changes, but it’s like i’m getting to know a whole new person. i think that’s why it’s still so hard to talk about. i’m learning so much about myself and every time i have to tell someone, it’s like i’m telling myself too. i’ve also learned, it’s hard to find the words to explain what i’ve been going through and who i am now. before, it was easy to tell people who i was because it was the same thing i’ve been telling them for years. it’s all different now. and you have to be careful with word choice. so i think that’s why it’s so hard. and all i was telling her was about my first year of college, who i’ve changed to be, why i’ve changed and what caused me to change.

15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?

hokay, so i had a ridiculously long, really really good answer written out to this and my internet decided to hate me and didn’t post it. so i’m going to try to recreate it, but i just want you to know that if this answer isn’t good, it’s because i spent all my energy and good brain power on the other one that didn’t post.
i couldn’t give up being able to be around people. like, if i was suddenly quarantined or something drastic like that. i could never live in solidarity. i’m shy, but i’m a people person. i don’t like big crowds or a whole lot of people, but i like being around people and being able to have conversations with them. people have so much to offer to one another. everyone has been through so much in their lives and has learned so much from it. everyday, they share their lessons with people. in the way they say things, or what they do, they are begging to share their lessons. whether they realize it, whether you realize it, they are. everyone does things for a reason. nothing is done without something in their past, either immediate or long-term, influencing them to do so. people are constantly teaching you. i need that contact with people. i have a need to be constantly learning and constantly growing in order to be content with life. if i’m not learning something, i’m not happy. everyone is a teacher and without people in your life, the only teacher is yourself and all you can teach is what you already know. you’d never grow, you’d never learn anything new.
i could never give up being able to be around people.
